Facebook releases new admin panel for Facebook Pages

Facebook pages finally get administrator roles and schedules posts. These access controls are offering business and organization for more and better security capabilities.

Now there are five new roles: manager, content creator, moderator, advertiser and insights analyst. The manager is the one who has the most permissions and have access in any admin roles and also can remove other administrators. Facebook is offering a chart where there is a clear view of each type of admin:

As you can see, the ‘Insight analyst’ has the least permissions and can only view insights and nothing else. Or an advertiser cannot send messages or create posts.  Larger brands could have advantages of this admin panel to have more control on their Facebook Page.  So it will only give people the least amount of access they need to do their job on the Facebook Page.

Facebook administrators are able to schedule posts up to 6 months in advance.  Moreover, you can run posts at least 15 minutes apart. But only the admin roles can create posts such as the ‘Manager’ and ‘Content Creator’. But still it is a great feature as brands need to find out when is the best and worst time to post on Facebook.

Facebook Page is a way to reach customers and to sell your products and services. So this admin panel could be a way to have more control on social media.
