First Windows Store games for Windows 8 revealed
The App Store of the Windows 8 operating system has been uncovered! Windows 8 is providing access to a number of eleven games. So what games will be available in Windows App Store?
As you already know, games are played by a huge population of the digital world. The Apple’s Mac App Store is a success, so would Windows 8 App Store be the same?
According to The Verge, Microsoft has revealed a list of eleven games: Angry Birds, Wordament, Hydro Thunder, Toy Soldiers, Reckless Racing, Angry Birds, Ilomilo, Rocket Riot, Full House Poker, Tentacles, Crash Course and Ms. Splosion Man.
As we all know, Angry Birds is the only popular game compared with the other games. However, in these last two years Hydro Thunder, Ilomilo and Ms. Splosion Man are noticeable games on Xbox Live Arcade. The standard games Pinball and Solitaire will be included.
Developers will be able to submit free applications and games or they can charge an app for instance between $1.49 and $999. According to Microsoft’s Antoine Leblond she called the Windows Store’: ‘‘the most significant development opportunity ever’’.
Windows is planning to launch its Windows 8 Consumer Preview and Windows Store at the end of this month. But the final version of Windows 8 will be launched in the fall of 2012. So are you curious for these games? Somehow, it seems a bit inadequate as there are hundreds of games available through services like Steam, Impulse and GOG.com.
