Google may launch Android 5.0 ‘Jelly Bean’ in Q2,2012

According to Digitimes, in the second quarter of 2012, Google is going to launch Android 5.0 ‘Jelly Bean’. As Microsoft will launch Windows 8 in the third quarter of 2012, Google like speed up Android 5.0 to adopt Windows 8 in the same tablet PC.

It is not even half year ago that The Ice Cream Sandwich was released and now Google is already planning to launch Android 5.0. Actually, Window 8 has inspired Google to speed up, to adopt Windows 8 in the same tablet.

According to Taiwan-based supply chain maker:

Android 5.0 will be further optimized for tablet PCs, while Google will also integrate its Chrome system functions to push dual-operating system designs. Brand vendors can either choose to adopt only Android 5.0 or add Android 5.0 to Windows 8 devices with the ability to switch between the two OSes without the need to shut down the computer.

Android 5.0 is offering more features for tablet devices. The most interesting new feature is that users can simply switch between the two OSes without shutting down the computer. This would be an interesting tool!

Since, Android 4.0 did not have a good performance; Google is hoping to get a comeback. It seems that Google want to make a re-entry with Android 5.0 ‘Jelly Bean’ in the notebook and netbook market.
