Google Weddings – Catwalk Down the Aisle

Earlier this week I was making a point that Google is everywhere, that statement is proven to be a fact. Google launched last November and has added new features, on top of the fashion oriented site; it also recently releases Google Weddings for the brides and grooms to be.

The new features that has been added to the already fast-forward fashion site, which includes adding more boutique stores from designers such as Thakoon (we all remember him, the famous Thai designer behind Michelle Obama’s outfit), Michael Kors, and Billy Reid. Since the site has been launched since last year, the team noticed that shoppers not only customized their boutiques but they are also engaged in taking the Stylyzer Quiz, in return, they voiced out which style, trend, colors, or even prices of the products they like as a result, Google added the Designer Analytics tool to the site.

Designer Analytics act as a tool for boutiques to discover what is considered trendy among the shoppers, the insights are basically provided. Trend Analytics on the other hand, give fashionistas a chance to see what are the hottest fashion, colors, patterns, and products by aggregating results from Google and itself.
Enough on fashion, let’s get in the mood of love, after all, Valentine’s day is just 3 days away.

Google Weddings is a one-stop site for the brides and grooms to get their wedding details organized, the love birds can also create their own website through Google Sites, track the wedding budget and finances through Google Docs, and other tweaks are expected to come our way. Besides all these basic options, Google Weddings have also partnered with Michelle Rogo who provide tips on which designs is useful and appropriate for the wedding.

So Google, what do you have in store for us next?
