HUD Google glasses are real and they are coming soon

Today, the website 9to5Google has published a fascinating rumour that HUD Google glasses are real and they are coming soon.

HUD Google glasses are like computers on your face which have the same look as the glasses in the movies ‘’Terminator’’ and ‘’Robocop”’, remember that? Referring to Goto5Google, the glasses will look similar as the Oakleys.  As you can see here below, they will put a few buttons on the arms of the glass. Just to make sure it would not be mistaken as normal glasses.

( Oakleys)

The display of the HUD Google glasses will only appear for one eye and it is not transparent. To scroll and click the user will navigate the interface by using head gestures. When a user is wearing this outside, information will be popping up all the time and evidently it would be based on preferences, like the ‘’Terminator’’ style. There is a small front facing-camera with  a flash to gather information and  to capture the moments through your eyes; however it has a few megapixels. However, these glasses will have a CPU/RAM/storage hardware as well. which it is comparable with an old Android smartphone.

These Google glasses have voice input and speaker for voice output so you can receive calls.  Furthermore, there could be also a phone’s internet connection, WI-FI or a low power Bluetooth 4.0. So imagine that you are wearing a computer on your face which you can check your e-mails and reading social media updates.  There is no need to reach your mobile phone or your computer, because everything will appear in front of your eyes by using head gestures or/and pushing the buttons.

Google will launch this in the future, but would you wear this? And what would be the main reason for you to purchase this?

There’s nothing impossible in this world. All sci-fi now becomes the reality, from tape to CD to micro memory, etc… and all of that came from military inventions. Sounds good for this gadget, but for every advantages, there’s always a disadvantages like mentioned by some that might have negative effect to the users eyes and brain. This HUD glasses were not applicable for developing countries which has a lot of snatchers and bad guys to be use for negative operations.
