Real Time Transit Updates in Google Maps

When we are waiting for public transport, we do not have any information about the bus or MRT except the time it is supposed to come. We won’t know where the bus is and what time it will reach. But now with another application in Google Maps, our life changes.

From now on, you can use Google maps for mobile or desktop to check when your ride is actually going to arrive with its new live transit updates.

So far, only 4 US cities and 2 European cities(Boston, Portland, Ore., San Diego, San Francisco, Madrid and Turin) partnered with Google Map for this initiative. However, Google is working hard to get other transit companies to work together with them.
