Turn Your Instagram’s Likes Into Photo Albums

iPhone social photo app, Instagram released a few updates today.

Instagram was like a stream of Tweets, displaying slideshow of Instagram photos in real time. You can “like” someone else’s photo or comment on it, but that was all you can do.

Now, all of the photos you’ve ever liked will be organized for you in your own album. The photos will be found under “Photos you’ve liked” in your profile, right under “your photos.”

So now liking a photo is not just a signal to express your emotion anymore. It also become an act to save photos.

In addition, upload speed will be much faster. This is quite important as speed is one of Instagram’s competitive advantage.

Auto-completing hashtags in comments are also included as one of the new features.
