Videolicious – The Fast & Easy Way to Create Videos

I am jealous of my friends who are artsy-fartsy when it comes to directing videos. It’s amazing how they can generate so much emotion from so many people out of something that they have created through a camera. To tell you a secret, I myself have tried to make a music video and, as self-degrading as this may seem, I bored myself to death while watching it that I swear it’s never ever going to be seen by anyone unless I want them to take a nap. I’m just no good at creating videos and frankly I never had the technical skills to come up with a decent presentation.

Cue in the free iPhone and iPad app Videolicious. This app is specially made for us amateurs out there who try really hard to create more or less a decent film but end up.. not making one. Users will be able to combine photos and/or videos stored in their iPads in the order they want them to appear. Then the user can record himself telling the story behind the scenes, and then he can choose music to accompany in the background from the app itself or within the iPhone playlist. After the elements are chosen, the app finalizes everything in less than a minute. The best part is, this video can be shared to Twitter, Facebook and email.

Videolicious is very useful in such a way that it allows unexperienced users to create a decent enough film to keep in a fast and easy manner. Matt Singer, founder of the app, says that it was designed for those who want to “get the best possible result in the least amount of time.” Perhaps this app is worth a try. It’s free after all… Maybe I could finally make a video that won’t put people to sleep without giving too much effort.
