World’s First Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) Will Be Launched In Japan

Just a day after Windows announced their latest phone “Mango” , TechCrunch found out that the phone will be launched in Japan through Fujitsu and Japan’s second largest wireless operator KDDI.

As mentioned in Windows Phone Blog, the latest version of the Windows Phone operating system “Mango” aims to create a smarter and easier approach to communications and apps, while delivering the best web experience. Special features include:

  • Conversation View which allows efficient participation in long email discussions with contacts.
  • Threads that makes text, IM, and Facebook chat into one conversation.
  • App Multitasking that  lets you work on email, listen to music and play games simultaneously. Apps can be switched quickly.
  • IE 9 with HTML 5 support
  • Voice-to-text text messaging

  • 1 Ghz Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU
  • Waterproof
  • 13.2 Megapixel Camera
  • Will come in multiple colors. Bright yellow, pink and black versions of the handset have already been caught in leaks.
